We found her! (Not that she was lost) 25′ 2004 Classic Airstream

Part One: First Look.

There she is… Potential “Lil Northern Star”

We found her on RVTrader.com and what really caught our eye was that she was in Quartzite Arizona! Only a 2 1/2 hour drive for us. We had been looking for an Airstream in our budget for about a year and a half. On Airstream Classifieds and RV Trader it takes a long time to find exactly what you want but when you do you need to be ready to hit GO! When an Airstream goes up for sale its usually sold within weeks! This one was in our budget and almost in our backyard. Compared to some we had been looking at in Maine, Oregon, Texas, all over the USA actually. But looking at those so far away would include a plane ride to the location just to look. Then if we decided to buy it we would have to drive to the location to pick it up or have it shipped. Costly, add another couple grand to the price!

So when we found this one we knew we had to see her straight away! We went that very weekend and fell in love! She is turn-key and in amazing shape for a 12 year old trailer. She’d been sitting a while so she needed a good cleaning and some detail work but she was everything we were looking for!

We made an offer and got an counter offer and we accepted! A few weeks later were were back in the Yukon and heading to Quartzite to pick her up! We bought her from a dealer who was selling it for a client. There are always bumps in the road but purchasing from RV Lifestyles   was such a good experience! If you are ever in Quartzite Arizona or looking for an RV visit them first and ask for Kenny Kid and tell him Mike and Rainey sent ya!

    1. The biggest thing I love about the classic floor plan is the bedroom in the back. Its so much quieter back there when in RV parks and national parks. That’s another great thing about her… She’s a 25″ and fits nicely into those older State and National parks designed for smaller trailers. Thanks Again. Happy Trails.
